Curb也非常支持罗德尼·阿特金斯，让他继续潜心创作。好事多磨，在接下来的两年中，罗德尼·阿特金斯通过不断的与多位制作人和音乐家们合作之后终于找到了灵感。2003年10月，罗德尼·阿特金斯真正的处子作《Honesty》终于正式发行，专辑中的主打单曲《Honesty
(Write Me a List)》不仅成功获得Billboard乡村单曲榜第四名，而且在Billboard Hot
100单曲榜中也排到了第57位。在近三年的等待之后，罗德尼·阿特金斯的专辑《If You're Going Through
Hell》面世。专辑在美国上榜首周获得Billboard
200专辑榜的季军和乡村专辑榜的冠军，创作了罗德尼·阿特金斯打榜的最好成绩。
